Free Summer Outdoor Concerts in DC and Bethesda

Posted by: aferreira | July 3, 2009 |

Summer is arrived and one of the best things to do in DC and Bethesda is enjoying the free outdoors concerts they have to offer.

DC

One famous concert series in DC occurs at The National Gallery of Art. They offer free jazz performances at Jazz in the Garden at its outdoor café every Friday evening throughout the summer. Visitors can enjoy cocktails and a light dinner while listening to great music amid 17 monumental works of 20th-century sculpture and flowering trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and perennials. Arrive early for optimal seating. In inclement weather, concerts are held inside the Pavilion Café. Bring your blanket and snacks and have fun listening to great music.

Dates: Every Friday, May 22 to September 11, 2009

Time: 5 to 8:30 p.m
